Bye Bye Queenswood

It's my last post from Queenswood and I want to write about my whole trip to Queenswood. This were very exciting two weeks for me. I had a lot of fun but it was very exertive, too. We had to stand up very early every morning. Pro tennis was really funny and I learned a lot of new technic. The excurions were sometimes a little bit boring because we went to so much museums. Bowling and cinema was really good. The new Harry Potter film was very good, too and I understood much. The lessons were okay but boring and on some days I only wanted to sleep. I had a very nice time here but I'm also lucky to go home. I'm looking foreward to see my family again and to sleep in my own comfortable bed. And I need my own shower because here the water is to weak. The first thing I do when I'm back home is to eat something aelly really good !
But I also will miss my new friends here because I had a lot of great fun with them. So that were my days in Queenswood. xoxo Hetti

London eye

On Wednesday we had an excursion again. We went to the London eye ! At first we had to go to the national history museum, too but our buses were 45 minutes late. We had very much luck ! Before we had to go on the London eye we had freetime for one hour... So we searched for some shops. After that we had to met the other in the front of the eye. The London eye was very good ! We were so high in the air and I could see everything ! The room was full with glass so you could see outside to every side ! It was exciting. After rhat we had two hours to go shopping. That wasmy last excursion in Queenswood and it was very much fun ! xoxo Hetti

Weekend

Eventually Weekend ! It was Saturday and on this day we went shopping !!! But we also had to go in a museum. So we drove to London. The science museum was okay but a little bit boring I found my favourite thing in the children's ward, it was like a very big TV but you could see yourself in special different colours. After the museum we went back to bus and then we drove to a incredibly big shoppingcentre named: Westfield. They had so much famous shops ! At first we searched for Abercrombie but we only found Hollister. We were very lucky to be there because we run all the time trough the whole centre ! So I bought some pullover. In the evening it was a disco in school. It was really boring at the beginning because nobody was dancing. But after some good songs the poeple warmed up. The end was at midnight.
At Sunday we drove to a tennis centre, but we were only ca. 25 poeple because the oher went to a amusement park. So we played tennis for 4 hours. We were all german and one bulgarian girl. The training was hard but also very funny. At the end we played some matches. In the afternoon we had also to do aktivities ! I had tennis. So it was a whole tennis day for me. xoxo Hetti

First excursion

On Wednesday we went to the globe theatre and the Tate Modern in London. The drive there was very long, we drove 2 hours. There we went at first in the the globe theatre. It was really nice and we were allowed to go very close to the stage. A women explaned us many interesting things. After that we went to this the globe theatre museum, it was pretty boring... and we had good luck because we were 2 hours late for the real dismissal. So we could go to the museums shop. The Tate modern was very big ! At first we came in a big hall with a slenting floor. Sometimes this museum was interesting but the works of art were pretty difficult to understand. My favourite was from Caroline Parka. The were many sterling cutlery close to the floor but they don't touch them. After the museums we went to starbucks. I ate a very big chocolate cake and I drunk a caramel cream. Then I felt sick. On the drive back I was so tired, that I slept a little bit. I'm excited for the next excursion. xoxo Hetti

Bowling

In the morning we had to go to school. It was like Monday... but we didn't have activities in the afternoon because we went to a big centre with bowling alleys, a cinema and other games. So after dinner we went to buses and they took us to the centre. The drive wansn't very long we only drove for 50 minutes. We got to play twice and than we had to go back to the buses. I was pretty tired at the end. But it was very fun ! xoxo Hetti

New classes and tableorder

It was monday and we had to sit in a terrible tabelorder. Only on the breakfast we can sit with our friends on a table. So in the morning I waked up (Iwas very tired) and I went to breakfast. There they said us that today we come in our classes. So after breakfast we had to went to the old poolhouse. I'm in a nice class with a nice teacher, too. We are only 7 poeple so I think that I'll learn english better than in a bigger class. After 2 lessons we had a 20:00 minutes break, where we can go into the dining hall to eat cookies and drink something. After the 4th lesson we ate lunch in the stupid tableorder. I was fortunately on a table with Nell, she is from germany, too. so I had someone I can talk to. In the afternoon I had pro tennis and I can't go to another activity. Pro tennis was very funny we had real lessons with real tennis teachers. But after that I was finished. xoxo Hetti

My first day

Yesterday it was my first day here. We had to get up at 7:00 o'clock, in my holiday that's very early ! So at 7:00 o'clock our house parent cames in and said very loud: "Come on, get out of your beds ! Open the window and clean the room !!!" I jump out of my bed because I was so frightened ! And then I went under the shower.
The breakfast is really good ! There are many various cornflakes and warm crossaints. Then we had to create our house to win FREE PIZZA !!!! After that we had to choose an activity. I chose tennis but the coat wasn't really good and it rained. In the evening I was very tired so I slept good. xoxo Hetti
